Anime NYC Zine
With the EnVi team's continuous attendance in covering the convention, the team took the initiative to push out a mini zine to have a creative take on the experience.
This issue hopes to showcase the various panels, events, and people who are present at this convention. The main theme surrounds around manga frames, portraying a lot of photography.
Manga Frames
We want to take an approach to include manga frames and iconography within the issue as a way to portray imagery while keeping the editorial style.
Scrapbook Styles
With inspiration from japanese styles, also keeping inspiration of japanese magazines and how they layout text and images in a scrapbook style.
Huge Imagery
While incorporating all these motifs, finding a way to unify and incorporate multiple photographs in one.
Creating this look has helped me understand the importance of the ground to work up from, especially when other designers were assigned to help out.
